Small Town Heroes – 3 to 16 Music Video

During our Final Major Projects (FMP) for our year 2 of college, our tutor set up “Bucks Colab” where people from any department could advertise asking for help with their projects and anyone could reply offering help. One of my friends, Adam, was doing a documentary on the College for his FMP and saw someone, Ryley, asking for help to Film a Live Lounge of the band “Undersky”, where a band plays as if it were live and it gets recorded. He reached out and offered help, another friend, Ellie, and I offered our help as well so the 3 of us helped to film the Live Lounge which was for Ryley’s FMP. After all our course work had been handed in, a friend of Ryley’s, Tommy (they play together in “Small Town Heroes”), reached out to us asking if we would help film a student led music video at college to go on YouTube. We were delighted to help and got our others friends in 90%Bloopers involved as well.

We then talked back and forth with Tommy about his ideas for the music video as it was their first original song. After lots of planning and preparation from students we filmed the music video and Adam and I edited it with Tommy and Ryley. I also edited a behind the scenes video with some help from Adam and Ellie. Tommy wanted to have a premiere for the music video and the other videos. We were able to have this premiere at a local theatre which was really amazing. It was great seeing our work on a big screen.
